Our Story
An innovation training program built around the realities of entrepreneurship in Southern Africa and beyond.
MophaneSoft was developed in Francistown, Botswana, with a specific challenge in mind: many entrepreneurs in the region have strong ideas but limited access to structured innovation support. Formal consultants are expensive. Generic online courses are not designed for the local context. The gap between having an idea and knowing what to do with it stays wide.
The program was built to close that gap. It draws on lean innovation principles and adapts them for founders who are working with limited budgets, limited time, and no dedicated innovation team.
Before encouraging ambition, the training asks entrepreneurs to look honestly at their ideas. Not to discourage, but to focus. Honest assessment at the start saves significant time and effort later.
Each module in the training connects to the others. Prioritization informs testing. Testing informs development. Participants build a coherent process, not a collection of unrelated tools.
The methods taught are designed to be used more than once. As you generate new ideas in the future, the same frameworks apply. You are building a capability, not just solving one problem.
Whether you are at the earliest concept stage or trying to revive a stalled project, the training is structured to be useful. You enter at the point that matches your current situation.
Every tool and method in the program is explained in plain terms. If a concept requires a consultant to interpret, it does not belong in this training.
The training encourages movement. A tested idea that reveals a flaw is more valuable than an untested idea that looks perfect on paper.
Innovation methods developed in Silicon Valley do not always translate directly to entrepreneurs working in different economic and market conditions. The program adapts principles to local realities.
Each module includes practical exercises that apply directly to a participant's own idea or project. The learning is active, not passive.
Each course is self-contained and practical. Browse what is available and find the starting point that fits where you are right now.
